In the dark warehouse Ivan stood back and watched as Lois worked. On the dimly lit table was a ammo reloading machine and a strange golden rock with small chunks broke off it.

“I thought that kryptonite stuff was green?” Ivan said.

Lois loaded another freshly made slug into the machine and pressed it into a cartridge. “Most of it is, but this is a rare type.” She picked up the new bullet and turned to face Ivan with a smile.

“The type I put into the slug of this bullet is called gold kryptonite. Unlike the green stuff this does something much worse!” She loaded it into a gun along with eight more just like it. “Gold kryptonite removes a kryptonian’s ability to absorb sunlight from our yellow sun turning them into a normal person.” She cocked the gun and slipped it under her leather jacket.

“Perhaps you should let me do the shooting.” Ivan told her.

Lois slipped a cigarette into her mouth and the light from the lighter danced across her face as she took a deep pull on it. “Oh no baby, this one is all mine!” She said huskily as she held the rich smoke deep in her lungs.

Unknown to Ivan at the time, when he was brainwashing her he put in a deep seated hatred for her then husband Clark, a desire to totally destroy him. He didn’t know that he was also creating a need in her to destroy superman too! This was now personal to her!

Lois let out a huge plume of smoke towards the ceiling. “I can’t wait to see his face when I pop a couple of these into him. The lead around the kryptonite will peel away but the kryptonite will pierce his skin.” She told him. “A few of these and he will be powerless. Then I will put a slug right through his brain!”

Ivan was a bit worried as he looked into the evil grinning face of Lois lane. This was Superman they were going after! Never mind the thought of if it doesn’t work, this was the man who had saved the whole fucking world a dozen or more times! This wasn’t just some nosey cop. Should they even be contemplating this? This would certainly cement his hold over Lois, but is this what he wanted?

On the other hand, they would be famous, the most dangerous criminals on the planet! The ones who killed the man of steel!  Power and money would flow like wine to them. Lois stood and slipped her cigarette between her lips.

“Let’s go baby, I have a ex-husband to kill!” She smiled.
