Zatanna gritted her teeth and pulled at the golden collar. But it was no use. She couldn't get it open.

She opened her mouth to intone a spell: "Ralloc-ggghhhhhhh!"

The collar squeezed, choking off her words. She clawed desperately at it, spots dancing before her eyes as she ran out of air, until it finally loosened and the sorceress collapsed on her hands and desperateled gasped for breath.

She couldn't pull it free and she couldn't use magic. What could she do?

Glad to hear it Les and I won't write another chapter until you've had time to add your next one.

Loved it! I'm writing something for Shendude first, but I've got ideas for Gotham's Sirens

Glad you liked Atlee's recruitment! Eager to read what you write. Also, there's a thread on the Messageboard now

Les, these are both great chapters. Think I'll continue from the Atlee direction though. Expect my next chapter in a couple days and might write two, one following the heroines, the other the villainesses.

@Grimmer, hope one of those suits!
