(A/N: I'm not fussy about when this is set in Marvel canon, outside of there being no Professor X and it being in the mansion, largely just so the idea of Venom being blasted to the XMen isn't
too insane. Other than that, go nuts)
Somehow... the universe had decided that the best thing to happen would be for the symbiote to fly so far away that it looked like it had been destroyed in the blast. The symbiote was sure Parker was spilling his guts out to that wretched wife Mary Jane, and
would probably be comforted by every fucking hero in the Tri-State area.
Those thoughts fueled the symbiote's rage, keeping its thoughts away from how little of its precious mass was intact... and how little would be left when it hit the ground.
After what seemed like an eternity of cursing anything that moved below the symbiote (Its pain-fueled mind even launching into a rant against a baby in a car on a freeway... for some reason), the black gooey substance landed on the grounds to a mansion.
Trawling through its memories, the symbiote could hardly believe its luck- it had landed on the grounds of the mansion the X-Men called home. Surely, this opportunity would give it not just a powerful new host body, but a place to recuperate, and plan a new
vengeance on Spider-Man...
