Peter decided to play around with altering himself or at least looking at what would happen if he mixed himself with another being/object. He sorted through heroes and villains, both his and others. 'Could mix myself with powerhouses like Superman or Thor. I could become the Norse God of Spiders. With Superman, would I be a man bitten by a radioactive Kryptonian Spider? A Kryptonian bitten by a spider who might have been enchanted or made radioactive by non-green Kryptonite? The wealth and armor of Iron Man, the wealth and training of Batman, the power ring of a Green Lantern? What about powers of the Super-adaptoid or Amazo? The powers of Electro or Sandman? Then there is the fact I can use fictional characters as a base. Like from anime, cartoons, movies and TV shows. Make myself a Jedi by merging with Luke Skywalker... or get the rugged smuggler route with Hans Solo. Maybe Captain Kirk or Q? Powers of a Naruto ninja, a Bleach Shinigami or a Devil fruit powers and training from One Piece... minus the not being able to swim part of the latter. Hydro-man would kill me otherwise. Or I could make myself a mixture of one or more sources....' thought Spider-man as he played with the machine merging himself with....
