Wonder Woman took the girdle and the key in her hands and started examinating them under all angles. This sure looked like her mother's Girdle to her, yet, they also produced similar looking Girdles to use on their prisoners. Such girdles forced them into total submission and to obey absolutely any order.
What if this wasn't her mother's but one for prisoners, she thought. It was a risk too high to take and thought it best not to try it on herself.

"Circe said she had placed traps all over the palace... It is quite likely this girdle is a schmuck bait!"

She placed the key in her bossom as well and proceeded toward the door with the girdle in her hand.
