In the Fight Zone...
Shadoweaver look at Hordak after he and a few other members of the
Horde had seen the glowing crown appear before him. Follow by the crown
moving to land on his head, covering him in it's glow before the crown
disappeared. The glow slowly lingering for a few minutes afterwards.
The Crown looked like it was made of rusted iron, turned as crimson
as blood somehow. The circlet was engraved with various of demonic
beasts and monsters, battling and devouring each other. Surrounding the
base, was tall irregular points like claws or fangs. An aura coated the
crown of a deep purple, boarding on black.
Hordak, the blue skinned mechanical skulled villain snarled at Shadoweaver, "What was that thing and what did it want for me?"
The sorceress wrapped in her red dress so only her hands and eyes
were visible whispered in a hiss, "That was the legendary Crown of
Corruption. It is said the crown and it's twin are involved in a strange
game between the forces of good and evil. The Crown of Corruption
allows a villain to corrupt any hero or heroine into any form they wish
with just a touch. Turned into the darkest of villains, loyal to the
wearer of the Crown. Just as it's counterpart can do similar, converting
villains into heroes. The wearer of the two crowns can not affect each
other."
Hordak gave a toothy smile as he asked, "So if I was to touch She-Ra,
she could be transformed into my loyal minion! Ha-ha-ha-ha! I can turn
all of that annoying rebellion into loyal soldiers of the Horde! I just
have to make sure the rest of you aren't any where near the wearer of the
other crown. Do you have any idea where they might lurk?"
"It is likely, given recent events, they are on.."
In Castle Greyskull...
"...Etheria. Given the portals between it and Eternia." answered
Sorceress as she spoke to Prince Adam, explaining what had happened to
him when the glowing crown had found him. Moving to place itself on his
head. She had told him all about the Crown of Corruption and it's
counterpart which he had be tasked with.
The Crown of Redemption looked like it was made of polished platinum,
shining as if in a brilliant celestial light. The circlet was engraved
with angelic warriors standing in defense against some great evil.
Surrounding the base were several larger warriors holding flaming swords
which rose from the crowns to make points of the crown. An aura of
golden light coated the crown, like a brilliant sun.
Before she had begun explaining, after he had arrived in Greyskull
and met her and Zodiac the Cosmic Guardian, the two of the two of them
performed some kind of complex ritual involving him. She had told him
how the crown would allow him to turn villains into heroes at a touch,
but it's counterpart would allow it's wearer to turn heroes into
villains. She told him where the counterpart could be, before to
continuing,
"The ritual performed by Zodiac and me has linked our powers as well
as those of Greyskull to you. In the event we are corrupted by the wear
of the Crown of Corruption. We have to prepare for the troubles to
come."
"Yes, if the crowned villain is on Etheria then my sister will be in
trouble! I have to get to her as soon as possible." said the Prince, as
he worried about his heroic sibling leading rebellion on another world.
"Adora is in trouble, but how to protect her is the question. Should
you rush to Etheria, converting villains there, with a risk of the
crowned villain converting the Masters here? Should you stay here after
warning Adora, converting the Evil Warriors? A mix of the above or
something else? It is the question. In the end it is up to you. What is
your choice, Prince Adam?"
