“Now, it’s time to wake up batsy!” the voice called.
Bruce opened his eyes and waves of dizziness washed over him. He looked over at the window. Holly Robinson was ripping back the blinds. Bruce looked closer. Holly was wearing a shiny French maid outfit.
“Ahh, what the…” Bruce murmured.
“Well if I had to toss out a thought,” Holly practically sang, “I’d say morning sickness.”
Bruce tried to shot up and instantly regretted it. Bruce looked down at… her-self? Bruce looked at the three feminine bumps on her torso, sure enough there was a belly bump that was at least three months along. Holly came over to help her up.
“Alfred is picking up ‘Lina from the airport,” Holly said, “Come on, lets you get to the bathroom Bryce.”
Bruce saw that Bryce wore a wedding ring, and a black with golden bat printed set of pajamas. The slippers were black fuzzy with a golden bat on each toe box. Bruce noticed that a pair of black slippers with purple cats on them by a shallow closet for robes and such. Holly led her to the bathroom. Bruce went into the bathroom and looked at herself in the mirror. Bryce was mostly Martha with bits of Thomas mixed in. Next to the double sinks were sets of women’s products. One was clearly Selina Kyle’s and the other must have been Bryce’s. The clue was the set weeklong vitamin pod box with the name Bryce on it. In between the two sets of sinks was a framed photo, Bryce Wayne and Selina Kyle’s wedding photo in the rose garden of the manor. Bruce looked at the pills in the box, the pills were prenatal vitamins. Next to the pill box was a tablet. Bruce tapped the screen and there was a notice of an email. Thinking for a second Bruce held a thumb to the scanner. The tablet unlocked and there was a message from Night Wing to Batwoman. It was a brief and terse summary of Batwoman’s activities last night and a link to a folder on the Batcave servers.
