“There should be a kitchen on the next floor,” Peter said, “There is a snack room here with a dumb waiter that goes up stairs.”
“I think we need to have a talk once we are there,” Emma pronounced.
The others agreed, going up to the third floor the Elevator and Fire Stars opened into a sort of cocktail lounge with a bar at the far wall with a door going back into another room behind the bar, a pair of doors sporting men’s and women’s signs on the side and a set of double doors next to the bar. The four went in the double doors and found the formal Dining room, along the outside walls were floor to ceiling windows, on the inside wall was a buffet table with ports leading into the next room and a door way. Checking the other room it was the kitchen with a small dining table by the outer windows and big freezers and pantries next to them.
“This should be fine,” Peter plopped down in a seat at the smaller table.
The ladies each took a seat at the table with Peter, Sue produced a thud on the table when she sat down, a thud that seemed to have no origin.
“I think it is time we all came clean with each other since I have reason to suspect we were not selected at random,” Emma started the took a deep breath, “While I am the only one here who is as I was born…”
“I am a mutant, a telepathy,” Sue, Carol and Peter finished the sentence at Emma’s suggestion.
The four gasped as they looked at the blonde woman as she turned into her diamond form.
“…And I have some other powers,” Emma finished then turned back, “You are Peter Parker alias the Spiderman, everyone knows Susan Storm as the Invisible Woman and Captain Carol Danvers is best known as Captain Marvel. The best nom-de-guar I have is ‘The White Queen’. But I can assure you I have many less flattering ones.”
“I got augmented with Kree DNA and gained the powers of their Mar-Vel Champion,” Carol confirmed, “Whatever is behind this has to have some sort of Superhero porn fetish. We found notes in the editing room that indicates this place produced erotic movies behind that screening room we found.”
“There was sex dungeon furniture in the lounge down stairs and we found these behind the reception desk,” Sue said as she dropped the invisibility field around the books from down stairs.
Carol grabbed the protocols book and looked over it.
“If there is some sort of Succubus controlling this building,” Emma started, “It may try to play with our minds in order to get us to comply with its’ desires.”
“Well if we are going to be open and honest adults,” Peter started in a sheepish manor, “It might be a little hard for me to know if something is messing with me since you three have all stared in some adult roles in my lonely teenage fantasies if you know what I mean.”
Carol looked up from the book and looked at the other women before speaking.
“It’s a good think you’re Spiderman,” She said, “That means you don’t have to worry about falling off the ceiling at the end of the evening…”
Only Emma kept from blushing.
“The plans describe a subbasement containing a sealed area called the ‘Dungeon Heart’. That was really the only permanent structures aside from the floors, outer walls, fire stairs and elevator in this building,” Emma said, “I am willing to bet whatever was in there when this place was built is still there, and it will try to play with us.”
“God I hope this turns out better than the FanFics I read about the Fantastic Four,” Sue signed, “Too many of them have the boys going gay for each other and I turn into a nympho bitch.”
Carol, Peter and Emma stared at Sue for a long minute. Then Emma turned and looked at Peter for a minute.
“Susan Storm; the Spider Mistress?” Emma spoke aloud causing Peter and Sue to go red in the face, “Carol please escort the Spider Mistress to the fourth floor, I will take our writer here to the fifth floor.”
