Xavier's vision left Emma shaking in fright. Suddenly, she felt very naked and weak, as if something in the professor's telepathic message had knocked her back into her senses. Emma spent the next five or so minutes looking for something to cover her nudity with, and eventually found a bed sheet in the crumbling remains of a suburban home.
After tearing it in half and fashioning the piece of cloth into a crude sarong and a top that barely covered her unmentionables; the former White Queen of the Hellfire Club took her time to behold the devastation brought by the X-Men and the other Hulks into what once was a quiet suburban neighborhood in the New York metropolitan area. Most houses had been severely damaged as the gamma monsters barged in and turned their inhabitants into more gamma-kin; and gave the whole suburban street a look that wouldn't rival with a city after weeks of constant air bombings or a nuclear blast.
And then, were the Hulks themselves.
Initially, she lost trace of Wolverine, but then found him and the creature that had to be X-23, as she looked like another green werewolf with huge bone claws; squatting and devouring a horse. Emma focused and dwelved into their brains, scouring them for anything to bring them back.
"Oh, G-God..." Emma mumbled as she was overwhelmed by a sensorial rush coming from both Wolverine and X-23's heightened animal senses. Not only she felt hungry, but both aroused and angry for no discernible reason. It had to be Wolverine's feral nature, and Emma remembered why establishing a direct mental link with someone like him was a very bad idea.
During her youth, Emma first started using her powers by trying them on house pets. Dogs, cats, birds and even a horse once. Animal minds were very different from human ones, as they were very simple in nature and were guided by instinct rather by morality and reason.
And the gamma energy in Wolverine and Laura's brains had exactly done that. Amping their usual feral nature to an eleven, stripping off anything that made them human and reverting the two into hyper aggressive beasts.
But, before Emma decided to give up, she found something hidden deep inside Wolverine's darkened brain patters. Like a tiny golden sliver, Logan's persona shone bright in the darkest and deepest bowels of it. Emma, who was starting to lose it and developing her own feral thoughts as the mind link continued; barely managed to 'grab' that sliver and pull it out.
"Arrrrghhhhh!" Both Emma and Wolverine howled in unison afterwards, with the green monster growling and roaring madly while grabbing at his head. Emma, out of breath and with her head pounding like a drum in the middle of a heavy metal song; was laying in her back in the middle of the street, gasping and staring at Wolverine.
"Logan?" She asked, as the gamma beast had stopped acting like a wounded dog and just laid down, hunched and breathing heavily.
"What did you do, Frost?" The gamma Wolverine hissed with a deep, guttural voice. Then turned around and charged at Emma, stopping just inches away from turning her into a shishkebab. "What the fuck did you do, Frost?!"
"Calm down, you hairy meathead! I brought you back, because a minute ago you were just a rabid dog, just like little darling Laura over there." Emma nodded at the still feral X-23, who hadn't stopped gnawing on the dead horse, and just plain ignored Wolverine's sudden change of attitude.
"That's...? Damn, It smells like her. Who the hell did this? Because i'm feelin' anxious for some fucking payback." Wolverine said, glancing down at his massive claws.
"Xavier didn't tell me who. But we can start with the woman who attacked the mansion."
"Van Dyne?" Wolverine raised his head and sniffed at the air. "I think I can smell it, but it's hard. The air is clogged with pheromones and body juices. Besides... there's a dozen of similar smells around."
"Try to find someone while I see if I can pull the same trick on Laura. We could use another tracker, Logan."
With that, Logan sniffed his surroundings like a bloodhound, trying to separate the many scents wafting around. The smell of raw sex in the air was making him horny, and neither his massive cock or the fact that Emma looked like a fucktoy designed by the most deranged geneticist in the planet were helping at all.
He had to focus. Think. He had vague and hazy memories of running alongside the hulked out versions of Cyclops, Kitty and many others; rampaging through neighborhoods, towns and farmlands. Logan ignored Laura's growling and roaring as Emma worked her magic. He had a task to fulfill.
"I think I got Summers. And Kitty."
"Where?" Emma said, putting her hands on her hips while watching as Laura Kinney came back to her senses. "How do you feel, darling?"
"Like shit." The female werewolf muttered.
"Good. You're mad. And we need to get mad as hell with whoever did this." Wolverine snarled. Laura either grinned or snarled back at him in agreement. "Summer's a block down from this street. And Kitty is farther away. Like two or three blocks. I don't know, but either way, she's getting boned by someone or something."
"Great, let's go."
It didn't took long to find Cyclops.
The hulking, one-eyed monster was basking in the remains of a meat deli; wolfing down cuts and less recognizable chunks of meat. Emma cringed, as now that she was completely back to her normal self; she saw how disgusting the hulked-out Cyclops actually was.
Not only did he have just a huge, single eye in the middle of his face; but his mouth was full of jutting, irregular tusks and both his hands and feet were reduced to sets of three claws. His stomach had bulged into a thick muscle gut and his grayish blue skin was ridden with lumps and pointed chunks of bone protruding from his shoulders and back.
The Cyclops Hulk noted the strangers approaching to his lair, then raised a crude club made from a fire hydrant and a steel pipe; and waved it at them in a menacing gesture.
"Scott, love... Sorry about this." Emma whispered and then unleashed a psychic barrage into Cyclops's brain, trying to pull him back from the gamma-fueled primitiveness.
After a minute or two, the thrashing monster calmed down and stared in confusion at the trio in front of him.
"Emma? Is that you? What the hell...?"
"It's a long story. We need to find the rest of the X-Men and quick. I'll give you the details as we walk. Now, move!" Emma said in her most stern voice. With that, the group continued to walk further down the street, where the sounds of mating and rampaging Hulks were louder.
