Marion was brought back to reality as her companion entered the room. Just looking at the professional Pepper Potts gave her chills.They first met while they were in the employ of Tony Stark. They got along well professionally but rarely hung outside of work due to differing crowds. It was only after Mary Jane had her epiphany that she and Pepper started to bond. In fact it was the young executive who Marion first approached about her new ideas. Captivated by the thoughts the young model ha, Pepper became enthralled with everything she said. Both were tired of being the damsel in distress and while they both knew that things could get complicated, both understood that together they could overcome anything.
As they left Stark Enterprises and Marion made her move up the underworld ladder, Pepper was right behind her. With a little bit of help from JARVIS the 2 were able to delete any existence of themselves from the world. However with a well known face and look like Mary Jane's they would have to disguise themselves. It was Pepper's idea for her friend to go bald and while they were both nervous Mary Jane agreed. Once it was done Mary Jane emerged a new person. She started to act differently telling her friend to call her Marion as Mary Jane was a naive little girl. She became more confident and assertive and soon Pepper and Marion were more than friends. They were lovers and no one would come between them as they took over the criminal underworld.
Back in the present as Marion kissed her lover, Pepper had a look on her face that worried the Queenpin. "What is it Pep?"
"A delegation of "heroes" are here. Apparently they found out the Queenpin was here and would like to have a word".
"Very well. We knew this day would come eventually. I just wished we had more time."
"Based on WHO is here, I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy this meeting".
