Back at the garage sale, The Merchant saw a well dressed man walking up his driveway. The Merchant smiled at him "Mr Osborne, it's a pleasure to have you shopping at my little garage sale"
"I'm not sure who you are, but you've managed to acquire some very powerful items. Why is it that you're not using them for your advantage?"
"I'm not a man who seeks power. I just want to see the world decend into anarchy."
"That's fortunate for me I suppose."
Norman Osborne browsed the various items available before he decided to purchase the Infinity Gauntlet. It would give him the power he craved to extract his revenge on The Avengers. He paid The Merchant and put the Gauntlet on his hand.
Osborne could feel the power coursing through his body and soul. He knew he had the power to literally do anything that he wanted to. And what he wanted to do was to humilate and defeat The Avengers.
He used his new powers to teleport to Avengers Mansion. There was only one Avenger home at the time....
