Rogue thundered out the door, ready to run after her... and mentally kicked herself, remembering one of her new powers. She reached out to Mercury with her telepathy. It was hard to get a hold of her, as the girl's liquid form made her mind fluid as well, but with some brute forcing, she managed to grab the liquid metal girl's brain before she escaped through a vent.
"I'm sorry, sugah," Rogue said quietly. "But ah can't have this gettin' out until I'm ready..." With a slight mental nudge, she forced Mercury to take human form once again and made her walk back towards her.
Mercury was in tears as she walked back over to the massive entity Rogue had become. "Please..." she said.
Rogue winced. "I'm sorry... I'm sorry, sugah. But I have to keep this secret for now," she said.
"I won't tell anyone. Please, I'm sorry..." Mercury whimpered.
Rogue shook her head, and picked up the girl, her jaws opening wide as she began to swallow her. Mercury went down easy, her amorphous body sliding down Rogue's gullet like pudding. With a few, slurping gulps, the young mutant was devoured, resting heavily inside Rogue's body. To her surprise, though, she wasn't digesting.
"Please!" Mercury screamed, doing everything she could to get out of Rogue's belly, any injury she inflicted healing quickly due to Wolverine's powers. "Let me out!"
Rogue shook her head. "No can do, sugah," Rogue said, patting her swollen stomach, which jiggled and thumped from its occupants struggles. "Not until you calm down and we can talk about this."
She waddled off back to her room, feeling tired after her two quick meals and chasing after Mercury. She'd rest, and if Mercury was still inside her, she'd talk with her then.
