Peter felt sure that things for the most part were running themselves.  In fact, over time square the jumbo-tron carried a speech by the Prime Minister for the United State.  It looked odd, but then it clicked, Sir Furry had briefed him on the change over last night.  The new prime minister had been elected by special election after the House and Senate had voted no confidence with the previous Prime Minister.  The English, Canadian and Scottish Prime Ministers were elected from Parliament, the United States one was elected by general public election. 

But something still seemed off, Peter snuck down closer to a news stand, using his web slinger he grabbed a tabloid and then dropped five crowns to pay for it.

That's what was up... The Tabloid was going on about alternating theories that King Peter was having affairs with Lady Watson and Lady Harding.  There was also various alternate theories about wicked love triangles and ménage-a-tuas.  He was suppose to be having dinner with Mary Jane, Lady of Queens in thirty minutes!
