The former heroines were led inside for processing.
"Unlock their transport shackles," the warden told the guards. The chains binding their wrists and ankles and Squirrel Girl's tail were removed. Doreen was particularly happy to have her tail free again. She let out a gleeful cry and happily wagged it around.
The power-dampening collars remained in place though to keep them from using their powers. Even though she didn't have powers, Cassandra still wore a collar as it could be used to track and stun her.
"Strip!" the warden commanded next. They shed their jumpsuits and prison-issue underwear and stood naked before their jailors. They gazed defiantly at the guards as they were made to undress, except for Squirrel Girl, who hurriedly slipped out of her clothes
before going back to caressing her now freed tail.
Once undressed, each of them passed through several different body scanners, which checked for any concealed weapons or other contraband hidden on or within their bodies. After the scanners, they underwent a physical body cavity search by a prison doctor.
The doctor was another displaced Amazon.
"Please, sister, this isn't necessary," Diana implored as she was told to lie on an exam table and spread her legs.
"It's procedure," the Amazon doctor told her former princess, "I'm sorry."
While the warden sympathized, the doctor was right that it was standard procedure and she had no choice but to subject the former heroines to this humiliating ordeal.
After the body cavity search, the new arrivals were led into a tiled room where nozzles built into the walls sprayed them down with pressurized streams of water and delousing chemicals. Doreen let out a loud yelp of pain as the water slammed into her. Diana,
Susan, and Cassandra grunted, but remained stoic during their forced shower. The warden and guards observed through a large window of security glass.
The new arrivals were permitted to dry themselves off after leaving the shower/delousing chamber and were then issued their new prison uniforms and underwear. These uniforms had their prison identification marked on the front, which began with a letter followed
by a number. Diana and Susan's ids started with an 'S', which marked them as supers. Doreen had an 'M' for mutant. Cassandra had an 'N' for normal, reserved for those who used gadgets or skills like martial arts. Their undergarments were also marked with
their ids. On the back of the uniform were the words "Metahuman Corrections."
