Fortunately, Luma and Maxima were currently on their homeworlds of Staryl and Almerac, respectively; the two Lylas were in Kandor working and keeping the other company, respectively; and Sally and Cat were likewise occupied with business.
Despite this, only some of his wives could come. Obviously, Lois, Lana, and Lori would be among them But asides from them...

Buffy Summers inspected her spouses. Today had a special meaning for her; not only was it the fifth anniversary of legalization, it was the sixth anniversary of breaking the curse that prevented her from being with Angel. It was also six
weeks shy of being five years from realizing that, while she loved men, she didn't mind a little girl-on-girl.
She was quite pleased with the harem she'd built; Angel, Spike, Riley, Dracula, and Ben all looked super-hunky in their tuxes. She showed her approval by kissing them, one at a time. Upon bestowing said kiss on Ben, she stepped away and
winked at him. He nodded, and was replaced by Glory, looking stunning in a red gown.
She too got an approving kiss, as did Darla, Drusilla, Sam, and Satsu. She paid particular attention to the last. She'd married most of her wives because of their bonds with her husbands, and tended to think of them more as playmates than
life-partners. But the Japanese Slayer was special; she had, after all, been the one who initiated Buffy into the world of sapphic pleasure.
And speaking of which, Willow and her wives Tara, Kennedy, Amy, Veruca and Vamp-Willow teleported in; also her sole husband, Oz. The Summers and Rosenbergs mingled, complimenting each other on their outfits, and generally stoking themselves up for the
party; Being invited to this party meant being part of an elite group after all, bound by the shared experience of world-save-age. It was a pretty big deal. Also, they were waiting for a few more.
The doorbell rang, and in walked Xander and his wives; Anya, Ampata, Cordelia, Faith, Kendra, and Buffy's little sister Dawn. Buffy was always shocked at how grown-up her sister was, and how
right she looked clinging to Xander's arm..
