Keeping out of sight
Gamora stayed to the shadows, her arms wrapped around her newborn twins
protectively while she crawled up the wall of the alleyway and jumped over to
the roof. Snapping behind an air vent coughing out a plume of exhaust she watched
several police vessels fly by and land at either end of the alley, still unseen
even when new security forces stormed out of their vehicles barking demands of
surrender she was already leaping over roofs and escaping from sight. One jump
found her crossing over 30 feet of distance, landing gracefully on the roof of
one of the shops across the street from where she lived. Whatever she was,
whatever she had become was now many times stronger and more agile than she had
ever been. Sliding down the gutters of the building she landed on she finally
reached terra firma and ducked behind a waste bin, peering around the corner to
find the police still at the alley, yelling up a storm for her to surrender…
They didn’t have the courage to step in, if they had they would have found her
already gone.
With inhuman grace
she ran and cartwheeled out of sight across the street to the back of her home,
jumping up to one of the windows and making her way inside. When her bare feet
met the cool tiles of the living room Gamora let out a sigh of relief, clutching
her twins more tightly now that she felt safe. Moving over to the front window
she peered through the screen and out to the security, watching them intently
and hissing over the trouble they gave her.
Several hours later
and with the bodies removed all the security and their vehicles made off and
left, leaving the street quiet except for the sounds of ventilation vents and
bad traffic off in the distance. “Safe at last…” Turning she looked down at her
two grubs, the pair had finally had their fill and slept, their tentacles still
wrapped tightly around her chest. Slowly and gently she pried them off and
placed them on the couch, finding herself kissing their foreheads before making
her way to the bathroom, scratching the mess of tentacles she now had for hair.
Stepping into the
shower she cleaned herself off, scrubbing and wiping the caked dry blood off of
her translucent green flesh she basked in the warmth and cascading water, even
leaning her head up to have it fall into her open mouth, drinking heavy
swallows of water until she wasn’t thirsty anymore. When she was sure she was
clean she turned off the tap and stepped out, still dripping wet when she
looked at herself in the mirror, blinking back at her altered self with curiosity
now that she could think straight. Her rapid pregnancy and birth had taken a
toll on her body, yet it didn’t show on her at all. No stretch marks, or a
sagging stomach, instead her stomach was smooth and tight, like it had never
happened. Though it seemed she hadn’t gone unchanged; her breasts were now
larger, heavy and sensitive she hefted one of her tits up with her clawed hand
and hissed at its sensitivity. Looking down she found her hips and thighs had
expanded, made wider. Turning around and looking over her shoulder she had to
move the sea of tentacles out of her vision to see that under the row of spines
that lined down her back her rear had gone from a pert heart shape to a full
round shelf of booty.
“What would Peter
Quill say? I have trash in my trunk?”
“Junk in your trunk.”
Blinking back in
surprise Gamora looked around, anxiously she snapped around ready to strike,
only to find herself alone in the bathroom. “Who’s there? Who said that?”
“I did… Look in the
mirror.”
Turning to look all
she found was her reflection, matching her movements like it should be. But the
face seemed different. Looking more closely with her hands at the glass her
reflection looked at her with sultry eyes, a gleam in them that seemed almost
predatory. With pursed green lips it smirked back at her, rearing back when
Gamora did the same. “I’ve gotta say, I love the figure, the men in the BAR
certainly did!”
“Wha-what are you?”
“I’m YOU, when you
were exposed to my essence I merged with you, joined with your body.”
“Then… You are the
result of this?” Gamora gestured to her changed body.
“We are perfection
now Gamora, from now on you will only get stronger, better, you should embrace
it, just think of what you could become… I do.”
Blinking back at her
reflection Gamora held herself tightly, doubt settling in. Was she going
insane? What was she going to do?
