Batman knew who was there even before Wonder Woman entered the room.
'Of course, he's probably got every camera on the Watchtower connected to his cowl,' she thought dryly when she heard him groan out his usual line,
"I'm busy, Princess."
She rolled her eyes, ignoring his hostile behaviour, and strolled to his side.
"Hello to you too. And since you're always busy, I'll just assume you won't mind helping me out with a case."
"If this a case for the Justice League, you should bring it to J'onn and he'll find people to help you out."
"I don't need the help of random League members. I'm here to enlist the World's Greatest Detective's help on a private matter."
Without turning away from his work he responds,
"Humour me."
"I've been having blackouts for several years now and I always wake up in the same apartment... in Gotham," she replies hesitantly.
"Why didn't you tell me before?" he asks angrily.
"Pride mostly. I also don't like being indebted to anyone, but at this point I'm ready to do anything to stop this."
