Diana gave Zatanna a loving kiss as thanks for doing as she asked, smiling at the loving look on her newest mate's face as she broke apart. "I believe we'll need some help from Batman if we're going to take on Circe. His mind has always come in handy against her."
"And his singing voice," Zatanna said, smirking at Diana.
"What are you two talking about? Batman doesn't sing," Mari put in, nuzzling against Zatanna's side.
"I'll tell you later, Mari, right now we need to get Batman on our side."
"He'll never agree to it," Zatanna replied.
"He will. If not through logic than through the love he has for both of us," Diana murmured, thinking about what Bruce would become once she had his permission to change his life for the better. She knew she could never fully erase the trauma that had marred his life, would never want to if she were honest with herself. That part of his life was the foundation of the man she know knew she loved. When she had been an Amazon, she had rationalized away the relationship they had once had, the lives they explored in J'onn's machine. But now she saw much more clearly how right they would be for one another. Her thoughts also turned towards Zatanna and the love she knew she bore for Bruce. She had seen how often one or both of them had denied pursuing a relationship themselves and the pain it caused both of them. "I know we can be what he needs to be happy. What we need to be happy."
"Just don't forget about me," Mari put in. Both turned towards her then and nuzzled deeply on either side of her face, Zatanna starting to lick a bit with her tongue.
"Of course not and I hope your feelings of friendship to Batman can change into love, though I will respect and honor your choice to not have a relationship beyond camaraderie," Diana murmured.
"Well time's a wasting, let's go get Batman on our side and stop Circe!" Mari exclaimed, moving past her mates and striding out of the quarantine chambers.
