Diana braced herself for the shock and disbelief on her fellow heroes and heroine's faces when she appeared out of the Watchtower telepad. To their credit and her surprise, there was barely a raised eyebrow. Superman and Batman were the first to approach her, Diana amused that Clark had to look up at her for the first time and Bruce had to move his head up to meet her eyes. The world's finest, her closest friends, didn't begin to usher to sickbay and start to poke and prod at her. No, instead Clark gave her a gentle side-hug and squeeze while Bruce's gaze promised a solution to her problem and empathy for her plight. The sight of their concern for her set her tail to wagging back and forth.
"Diana, start from the beginning. The logs say you were tracking Cheetah and Circe, what happened after that?" Bruce asked.
Diana nodded and started from the beginning, noticing Zatanna moving a bit closer at the mention of an idol and Dr. Fate was waving a few fingers in her direction, the golden color of his magic soon flaring to life.
She would get through this, she decided as she finished her story, with the help of all these great men and women around her. Suddenly, her stomach rumbled and Diana offered a wolfish grin towards Bruce and Clark.
"Mind if we start the analyzing after I get something to eat?"
