“Well Luthor, I can see why it took you a while to work up the courage to let the world know.” Lois said half mockingly as a small bespectacled man with wild frizzy hair balding in places as is unfortunately stereotypical for a man in a lab coat. She regretted her choice of words as she saw him carrying a shot of something.
“My dear Lois, you do Jest. Of course this is not my new partner,but he is the key to our everlasting happiness.” Luthor said with a chuckle
“You see between running a successful multinational company and my numerous civic duties, I unfortunately have no time to find myself a wife.” Began Luthor, launching into full monologue mode “And being the successful and driven man that I am I have decided that would just not do. So naturally I had some of the staff in one of my more discreet labs work on a solution. What they came up with, well it was nothing short of miraculous.”
“So you made yourself a wife? From nothing? Even for you that is mental” Lois tried, starting to get really scarred with her predicament.
“No, not quite. Not from nothing, and it isn’t exactly done yet” Lex replied “Doctor Zeframm here developed a device that can literally rewrite people’s brains. Literally wiping the brain clean, and writing new information over the blank slate. Not only that but it can even change how the brain makes pathways changing both personality and memories.” Lex was revelling in the doctor’s invention.
“So I needed a base to work with. Someone with the body and looks befitting my stature, with a few improvements of course.” Lex smiled “Someone to be remade into my perfect woman. That is where you come in my darling.” He nodded to the doctor, who began advancing on Lois
“No! You can’t do this! I will remember, you will never change me.” Lois screamed as she kicked and struggled.
“My dear, even if you do somehow remember. You won’t want to change back, your whole identity will be changed right to the very core” Luthor said, with complete confidence.
Right then, Lois felt a sharp pain in her neck and that was that.
