Jasmien stroked her chin. She remembered that the Genie had thrown away Jafar's lamp. She merely needed to find it. Not by sending herself, of course. She could send Aladdin to get it from the cave with the right... motivation.
The newly-minted sorceresss chuckled to herself. She had to get busy! But she needed to keep some sort of link to the power of this room. Her now longer nails caressed the cobra head and there was a burst of light. Suddenly she had another cobra staff in her hand. Of course. Jafar had carried around a copy of the staff, which had linked him to the powers in this room. But Jasmine needed a subtler link instead. She gestured and the staff copy transformed into a gleaming golden necklace that featured a large red ruby. The ruby had a black mark on it that made it rather resemble the slitted eye of a snake.
Jasmine smirked as she placed the necklace around her neck. Time to get busy....

As she returned to her normal quarters, her tiger Rajah bounded up to her.
"Yes, Rajah dear, come here," Jasmine purred.
She pressed a hand against his face, transferring a shard of her twisted soul into him, making him her sorcerer's familiar.
Rajah's eyes narrowed with new intelligence.
"Mistresssssssss," he purred. "Thank you!"
"You will do anything for me, won't you, Rajah?"
"Anything. I am your slave. Who should I tear to pieces?"
"No one yet. Right now I need to send Alladin make to the Cave of Wonders to fetch something for me."
"Won't he be suspicious?"
Jasmine grinned wickedly. "Not when I'm through with him."
