Suddenly, both women's heads jerked to the side, their eyes catching movement coming through the darkness in their shifting, infra-red vision.  They could see a figure approaching their location with considerable haste.  Meanwhile, their one-time victim had abruptly stopped her writhing on the ground, and suddenly, with one final growl, was snapped back to reality.  In an instant, she was kneeling on the ground, directly behind her two Bacchae mistresses, her legs directly under her and her taloned hands resting on her thighs.  Her short hair, wild from her attack, was veiling her face slightly and Xena and Gabrielle were stunned at the girl's quick adjustment to life as a Bacchae.  They turned to the direction of the oncoming security guard.  Both women knew he would have questions, especially about the splash of blood on the poor girl's sweater but they doubted he would have much time to find answers before their young charge would drink him dry.

The man arrived on the scene, huffing and puffing on account of how fast he was running.  He was short and balding, and a little overweight.  He was a rent-a-cop, and a poorly paid one at that.  What the poor, unfortunate man came across that night was way over his pay grade.  There were two women, one taller and one shorter, standing over a kneeling girl.  At first glance, the two women who were standing looked like they had come from the drama department on campus.  It was funny, though.  He didn't recall any productions that were coming up, and certainly nothing that would require these two to wear what they were wearing.

Their outfits consisted of black leather, high-heeled boots.  Small, ass-hugging skirts that stopped at mid-thigh.  Tight, midriff-barring tops with no sleeves and a peek-a-boo hole in the middle of their upper chests that revealed a generous amount of cleavage.  There were black opera gloves that rose up past both women's elbows.  The thing that put the ensembles over the top, though, was the fact that both women were wearing long black capes.  The interior of the taller woman's was deep red, while the interior of the smaller woman's was golden in color.  Both women's hair was pulled back severely and shone brightly in the moonlight.

The security guard turned on his flashlight and shined the light in both women's faces.  For an instant, he thought the looked extremely pale and had golden, glittering eyes but as he kept the light on them he could see that they were just normal complexioned, if not bizarrely dressed women.  Still, he did hear that animal growling and wondered why the girl behind them was kneeling on the ground.

"What's going on here, ladies?  I heard quite the commotion coming from this direction and had to come running," the security guard spoke, trying to sound authoritative, "What's the matter with your friend?"

He then flashed the light at the girl kneeling on the ground, and saw the mammoth amount of blood on the side of her swear.  The shock caused him to drop his flashlight and he bent over, fumbling to pick it up.  In the mad dance of light caused by the panicked security, he never saw the girl rise slowly to her feet.  She took slowly steps toward him, and before he knew it, all three women were standing before the poor man.  The girl raised her head, and the man drew back in complete shock at the girl's changed face.  She looked at him, her golden eyes were wide and unblinking.  Her mouth, with the swollen, crimson lips, were half open in a sneer, and the man could see her deadly fangs in the bright moonlight.  He looked at the other two women for support, but they two shared the girl's horrific features.

"You asked us what's the matter with our friend," Gabrielle asked the quivering, horrified man, "Why don't you tell him, child."

"I'm thirsty," the girl announced.

With that, she wrapped her taloned hand around his throat and tossing him into a nearby thicket of bushes hidden from the bright light of the moon by a cluster of trees as if he was nothing.  The wind was knocked out of the man on contact with the hard ground, but still, he struggled to get to his feet and flee the nightmare image behind him.  In an instant, though, the young woman he had recognized as a student at UC Sunnyvale, now inhuman monster was on top of him.  The girl found the overpowering thirst that had been growing ever since Xena had torn into her throat just minutes ago, and she wasted little time in plunging her own fangs into the man's neck.  The last sight he saw before everything went black forever, was the two women approaching the girl, their eyes becoming golden embers in the dark shade of the tree.  He welcomed death, if only to escape these terrifying creatures.

Finally, the girl removed her bloody mouth from the security guard's mouth and made a satisfied, if not inhuman snarl sound.  She looked up at Xena and Gabrielle and felt a jolt surge through her.  She closed her eyes and a high-pitched shriek of delightful pleasure escaped her puffy lips, as wave after wave of intense, delightful, orgasmic bliss surged through her body.  When it was over she looked up at Xena and Gabrielle, her eyes big and questioning.

"What is your name?" Xena asked.

"Chloe," the girl replied.  She looked down at her taloned hands and balled them into fists.  She looked back up at Xena and Gabrielle, "Wha...what was that?  Who is Bacchus?  What have I...become?"

"You're a Bacchae now, Chloe.  We are eternal servants of the God of Wine, Bacchus.  What you just experienced was your very soul becoming permanently bound to Him!  Bathed in a vast, orgasmic ocean of blood," Gabrielle explained, rubbing the side of Chloe's gently with her taloned hand.  Xena looked on, her face deathly serious, "You will live forever, Chloe.  As long as you dutifully serve our Lord and Master, Bacchus, as we have."

"Do you know of the Slayer, Chloe?" Xena asked, finally breaking her silence.

"I am sorry, Mistress.  I don't know of a Slayer, but perhaps a girl that was once a part of my Wicca group knows something about her.  She spoke of actual magic in the world and if this Slayer is as powerful as you say and is located in Sunnyvale, this girl might know her," Chloe spoke, bowing her head in reverence to the centuries-old Bacchae.  Somehow, she was starting to know more and more about the pair in front of her.  How they initially tried to defeat Bacchus, but were eventually defeated and turned into his oldest and most devout followers.

"And what is her name?" Xena asked, raising a perfectly sculpted eyebrow.

"Willow Rosenberg, Mistress," Chloe said, hoping to please the raven-haired women in front of her.

"You are already proving to be a fine asset to Lord Bacchus," Xena murmured.

Chloe's s face took on a dark smile.  It was then, the three women closed their eyes and felt a surge flow through them.  It was like a tug on an invisible leash.  Chloe looked up at them, awed amazement in her glittering, golden eyes.  She then stripped off all of her clothes and stood naked in the moonlight.  It was another sign that she had accepted her true place in the world now that she was a bloodthirsty Bacchae.

"The Master has summoned us," Xena purred.  Both Xena and Gabrielle proceed to grab Chloe and the three women flew into the cold Sunnyvale night air, and soared in the directions of the caves at the outskirts of Sunnyvale.  Somehow, Chloe's twisted mind knew that was where Bacchus' lair was and she would soon be in the presence of her Lord and Master!
