Queen Hippolyta is the queen of the paradise island, Themyscira, and it's all female populace, the Amazons from Greek mythology. She is also the mother of Wonder Woman, aka Diana Prince, and Wonder Girl, aka Donna Troy. She has held the mantle of
Wonder Woman, commonly held by her daughter, and is believed to have fought in WW2 alongside the heroes of the time, although this is disputed.
