Faith had researched the rock which had fell on her. It had been a few months since Sunnydale had fell into a sinkhole with the death of the First's dreams. They had been going through the remains of the Watcher's Council resource, which included the book which told her about the wishing rock.

From the book...

"This Wishing Rock is one of many objects of power which wander the multiverse, as agents of changes. Those who hold the rock are allowed their wishes, unlimited in number. The flaw in this is the stone seem to prefer selfish and especially sexual wishes. To the point in rare and random cases the stone can 'make' the user make selfish wishes. It, however, seems willing to grant unintended wishes."

The book then continued with examples which the writer could confirm, since the rock itself could alter reality. Which made noting changes harder.

'Key to all of my fantasies, especially selfish and sexual...

What the hell!' she thought as she prepared to make a wish.
