As Gwen spoke she felt a sharp pain in her lip.
"Ow!" she gasped, and opened her mouth to look what had pricked her. In place of her two incisors were two sharp fangs, dripping with black inky venom. She snapped her mouth shut and held her hand over it, wide eyed in fear. What was happening to her. The new body she could deal with, even welcome, but fangs? There was no way to hide that. She removed her hand from her mouth and looked again. The fangs seemed smaller, almost as if they were receding. Gwen focussed on them and willed them back into her gums.The fangs obeyed and receded back into small fleshy sheaths in her mouth.
Suddenly she felt woozy. Her bottom lip was numb where she had bitten herself. Gwen dropped to her knees, her head spinning. Suddenly she felt a cramp in her stomach and double over. Her fingers ached, her eyes felt sore and she couldn't feel her lips. She closed her eyes for a second and when she opened them the world looked different. She saw multiple copies of the room floating in front of her, slowly resolving into a single, ultra-sharp picture. She raised her fingers and saw her nails had turned a glossy black, hard looking, almost like the carapace of a beetle.
The dizziness had passed so she stood up and looked at herself again. What the hell?! Her eyes were pitch black. Looking closer she could see hundreds of black segments making up each one. It was kind of beautiful. Her lips were plump, pitch black glossy pillows, filled out from how they used to be. Her skin was paler, her tan faded in a few seconds. If it weren't for her blonde, almost white hair she'd look like some kind of goth chick. A damned sexy one, she though, smiling and letting her new fangs emerge.
