There were no heroes or villains in this strange world, Diana soon found out. There were no infinite amount of unending crises, no plots or schemes. The worst crime was food theft and the police of this place rarely caught anything more than a case of donuts as they parked panting and wheezing frames down to gorge after walking half a block.
Some things were still the same, Diana or Dee as she was becoming more and more used to being called, hailed from Paradise Island, the second fattest woman on the island, after her mother. She was still blessed by her gods and goddesses, but all of her abilities were now purely focused on her adipose. She could clear a buffet by the time it took an ordinary person to blink. She could lift incredible amounts of food into her mouth and could block any stray flecks of food with her specially made wristbands. From Aphrodite she was blessed with a pleasing frame, not favoring any part of the body but continually expanding in all directions. From Athena she was given knowledge of the most fattening foods and recipes. On and on the blessings went, until she was declared Champion of the Amazons, sent to Man's World to help ease any remaining tensions between men and women in regards to size. She found a society not nearly as decadent as the one she had left, and vowed to stay here until Man's World made Paradise Island look like a nation of the emaciated.
Her mother was grateful for her daughter's dedication, and glad she was off the island as that meant more food for herself to binge on.
Dee met Bruce, or Bee as she told her to call him, during one of the many, many, buffets she was invited to shortly after her arrival. He had lost his parents to massive heart attacks owing to their status as the fattest man and woman in all of Gotham if not the world. Bruce then vowed his fortune and his incredible willpower to become the fattest man, his resources allowing him access to the new medical discoveries that made obesity related diseases a thing of the past.
Bee and Dee hit it off over their shared love of roast pig, though his stubborn nature in trying to outeat her at every turn caused some friction over the months, friction that was eased as they gave into the growing attraction between themselves. They went from dear friends to even dearer lovers, causing their mutual close friend Clark Kent to remark that the two were made for each other as the big-boned Smallville native tucked into his fifth plate of fried chicken helped by his triple-chinned co-worker Lois Lane.
The pair were married a year later, adopting a chubby young boy named Dick Grayson, followed later on by Jason Todd, a troubled fat child, then Tim Drake, rotund and intelligent, and finally Cassandra Cain, the tubbiest teen Dee and Bee had ever seen with an inability to talk that took the most amount of effort to cure the couple had ever expended on anything other than eating and making love. But that hard work paid off as Cassandra could now speak just fine and was often seen pigging out with her best friend Stephanie Brown, a fat blond that was introducing her to all types of new junk food she had never tried before.
Dee smiled with pride as she thought of all her beloved children, as much hers as Bee's. Though he didn't always show it, Dee knew her tubby hubby loved them all as much as she did.
Her thoughts on the past she had discovered and remembered were dissipated a bit as she heard Alfred's cough.
"Telephone for you Ma'am."
"Of course," Dee replied, raising a trembling arm to grasp the phone with sausage digits. "Hello, this is Diana Wayne."
"Diana! It's been too long. I just have to stop on buy and we can catch up!"
Diana smiled as she recognized the voice of her closest female friend...
