Carol had left the mansion over an hour ago, enjoying her jog. She loved the feeling of her feet on the hard ground, though not nearly as much as she did enjoy flying. But she found that it was much easier to jog while incognito. And that was a major plus, because sometimes she didn’t want to be recognized.

She let out a slight pant as she came to a stop, having realized that she had gone way past her usual routine of ten miles. She estimated that she had gone at least twenty, based on the fact that she could now see the Daily Bugle Building across the street.

“How the hell did I not notice going that far?” she said out loud, as she arched her back. As soon as she had done so, she realized that she  was getting a lot of stares. Even a few cameras where flashing. “What the hell!” she snapped as she stared at her onlookers, who began to crouch back. Something seemed off about them. It was like they were far too short to be average New Yorkers.

“Holy-“ one of them muttered, as Carol glanced in his  direction. Again, this man seemed oddly short, but she decided to simply blow it off as nothing, and turned away.

Only to smack her head into a low-hanging sign. A sign which she remembered passing underneath multiple times without incident. This development caused Carol to look down, and see that her cloths where way too small for her. About three inches of her toned stomach was showing, and hersleeves just barely reached past her elbows. ‘Shit,’ she thought to herself as she realized that she had grown by about a foot and a half.

She gave her forearm a slight flex, and was surprised to see tiny tears appear in the fabric. That had never happened to her before. HSebegan to feel her arms with her hands, finding a surprising amount of new muscle. Sure, she had always been extremely fit, given her half-kree nature. But now, she seemed to be more in She-Hulk’s league of Amazonian proportions.

And because she was not entirely brain-dead, she realized that this could have something to do with the meteorite, and took off into the air, heading for the mansion.
