Seven days had passed since Susan had returned from the Convention and she was happy that this part of her Life was over. The Meetings had been more than boring, so boring indeed that she had asked her Brother to send him some of his Vacation Pictures. After 3 Minutes watching them she had deleted them all. It had been a stupid Idea and she didn’t even know why she had did it. But here in New York she felt much better and more alive than on every Place on the Planet. Her Husband was working with two Avengers on a new Project. Something about a new Prison in the Negative Zone. She had seen Tony Stark and Henry Pym very often in the last days but never had the time to chat with them. Ben was still in his Vacation with his Girlfriend. If she remembered right they should now be in Death Valley, a place that both of them loved. Her Brother on the other Side had returned yesterday and had one of his famous Ideas. He had met Angelina Jolie and tried seriously to start a Career as a Hollywood Star. He had invited the Hollywood Star for a Dinner this evening, while her Husband was on a Celebrity Tour in Germany.
She liked the Idea to meet this Woman but had a lot to do until the Dinner. First of all she checked the Bank Accounts and paid the necessary Bills that even the FF4 had to pay. After she had checked everything she allowed herself to smile. Each Member of the FF4 was a rich, but the Company behind the FF4 was very rich. The Inventions from Reed and herself had brought a massive Amount of Money into the Company and even Johnny and Ben had ways to earn Money. Ben made some money with little Projects and Johnny had lots of Contracts with Stuntmen, Racing companies and so on. But the greatest income had Reed. Even if most of his Tech wasn’t sold to local markets and only used by SHIELD he had made enough money to make sure that they had more than enough. Susan´s part in it was the CEO and with this she had to make more and more Paperwork’s. Gladly she had been able to train H.E.R.B.I.E. to help her with most of the smaller things.
“Susan. You said I should remember you that you have a Meeting on the John F. Kennedy Airport in 45 Minutes.” The robot Voice of H.E.R.B.I.E. said to her and she looked at the Watch.
“Thanks Herbie. Can you prepare the Humvee for me?” she said with a smile. She loved Ben´s huge Humvee coloured in the same Colour as his Skin. She was sure that he wouldn’t mind if she would take a ride in it.
“Sure Susan. Have a nice Day.”
As Susan drove to the JFK Airport her mind travelled back to the Convention and to Dr. Violet. He was a Psychiatrist and worked in Tokyo. He had asked her if he could visit them when he was in town and Susan had promised that she would be at the Airport to drive him around the Town. Because he didn’t know anyone in the Town it was the right thing to do for her. He had informed her yesterday that he and his Assistant would arrive in New York. His Assistant responded to the Name Jasmine Red and was a Psychiatrist too. Susan liked the possibility to chat with both of them again because she hadn’t had the time to do it on the Convention.
As she drove to the Airport she looked at the Security Members. Since the Outbreak of the Supervillains SHIELD and the US Government had almost doubled the Numbers of Security Personal on each Airport in the USA. Also the Government had allowed Fury to install high tech Scanners on each entrance. Most of them were built by Stark or Hammer Industries but on the JFK it hadn’t been necessary. Reed had upgraded the entire Security 2011 after another Combat with Dr. Doom. Even after 3 Years his Devices were state of the Art and nothing could slip through. Her VIP Pass allowed her to drive right to the Airfield where the Private Jet of Nagashima Enterprises landed. She had heard that Nagashima and most of his Science Staff had been killed by an Attack of the Wrecking Crew a few days ago.
A little buzzing Sound on her Smart Watch remembered her that it was time. She had decided that she would use her stay at the Airport to test the Security Systems for her own. Normally that was part of Ben´s Duties but as she was here already she could give it a try. It took her only a little Mental Push to create a Field around Dr. Violet and Dr. Red. Both of them vanished from the normal Vision and even normal Detectors wouldn’t be able to find them. She smiled at them and wondered why Dr. Violet had put on a Trench Coat and a big Hat but as he explained her that he had caught a flu she nodded.
As soon as all of them had left the Airport unnoticed she saw both of them Relax. It looked like they had been nervous about something.
“Before I bring both of you to your Hotel I would like to show you something. One of our first Shelter.”
Now Dr. Violet and Dr. Red smiled widely as the saw that both suggestions had worked very well. Neither does Susan Storm Richards looked nervous nor did she recognize Dr. Violet´s Skin Colour. But both of the Mind Controller could see that Susan was not fully under their control. It wasn’t that she was aware of the Fact, that she drove two Villains around, but more that she felt something was wrong. Killgrave´s Power was impressive and with him so close it was impossible for even the strongest mind to withstand him very long. Sadly his Power wasn’t very subtle. It was possible that he could give her a command that would collide with her ethics, her inner believes or even some strong emotion. As long as he could evade this he had a good grip on her. But he had learned over the years that even if he could force someone to act against his Moral it would give his victim the possibility to escape his hold. Until now he had only made minor Changes in her. The so-called Doctor Violet that wanted to visit her and that he had the flu.
They drove to the Harbour and soon they stood inside a small Warehouse. Susan smiled and entered a Code inside the Control Panel. The floor opened with a loud metallic crunching. In front of the Eyes of the two stunned Villains a Car Lift rose from the Ground and opened for the Car.
“Impressive. I know!” Susan smiled and parked the Humvee inside the Lift that immediately sank down into the ground again but in both of her guest´s faces she could see that they didn’t like this very much. Both of them seemed nervous and like they felt trapped. She felt sorry for them and tried to calm them down. The tour into the underworld took only a few seconds but it was as if they had left the Earth and entered some kind of Star Trek Space Ship.
The Car parked now inside a Hall that had the length of 2 Football fields and was wide as one too. It was full of Computers and Panels off all kinds and Sizes. Also they could see Robot arms with multiple Joints. Most of the Arms ended in futuristic looking Devices that neither Killgrave nor Hypnotia had any idea of. It was all covered in white Layers so that the Dust couldn’t get to the Advanced Systems.
“This is Shelter Zero! Reed build him right after we returned from our Space Mission. He was afraid that Victor Van Doom could steal one of his Creations and so he build 10 Shelters all over the City. Most of them aren’t in use right now and this one is no exception. I wasn’t here for…mhmm I guess 5 Years.” She suddenly wondered why she had brought them here.
“Thank you very much my dear.” Killgrave said to her only to distract her from his Partner. Hypnotia stood behind the Heroine and aimed with a prototype version of a Hypno Beamer on her Head. It was based on the same Technic that the Ringmaster used in his Hut. Nagashima Enterprises had managed to build a smaller version but it had still all the flaws of the Original Version. She had to see it so it could work.
“Ms. Storm?” she asked her and Susan turned to her. Susan had a great reaction time and it took her only a millisecond to activate her force field if she was aware that she was in danger. But nothing had made her suspicious right now. And every human Person had about one second reaction Time. She didn’t even had time to blink with her eyes before the Hypno Beamer was activated. Hypnotia was careful and had even put one arm towards her. Yellow Circles were appearing out of her Spread fingers and moved right to the captured Heroine. Surrounded by the massive Amount of Killgrave’s Pheromones, the Ringmasters Hypnotic Beam AND Hypnotias own impressive Power even the Strong Willed Heroine was enthralled before her mind was able to understand that she was under an attack.
“Did it work?” Killgrave asked Hypnotia only seconds after the Attack. This was one of the most critical Point in the whole Plan. If she had noticed the attack she would remember it after the Spells would fade away and her Mind would find a way to rebel against any given Order. But if she hadn’t even noticed that she had been attacked, and her mind had fallen before she understood what happened, they could implant very carefully chosen Commands into her Mind. Only then they could hope that Susan wouldn’t get suspicious about some parts of the Commands.
“I don’t know for sure! Susan. Can you hear me?” she asked the enthralled Heroine.
“Yes. I can hear you.” Susan answered very deep and relaxed. It was clear that her mind was shut down to the absolute minimum.
“Tell me what happened after you turned towards me.” Hypnotia asked careful.
“Nothing.” Was the answer and both of the Villains let out a deep breath! Killgrave noticed that he had hold his breath and felt his heart beat like a Hammer inside his chest. He could see that Hypnotia too was feeling much easier now and moved her spread fingers slightly so that the Swirling Yellow Rings flood all over Susan´s Body while she still aimed at her with the Ring Beamer, as they had called it.
“Great Work Partner!” Killgrave said and gave Jasmine aka Hypnotia a long deep Kiss. “She is ours now. We have to work fast. We know that our Version of the Ring Beamer only lasts 30 Minutes. Before this time ends we have to get all the information’s that we need!”
Hypnotia blushed a bit at the sudden kiss but smiled. He was right. They had work to do.
