Diana idly sipped her mocha, delighting in the taste of the sweet treat and reflecting on how good her burger and fries had been. She just had to have another, she decided after a few more sips. Getting up, she walked towards the cafeteria line and snagged two more burgers and a few more baskets of fries, returning to her seat and taking a big bite of her second burger.
The taste! It reminded her of her first taste of beef on Paradise Island all those years ago. She had asked for more and more still, until the then sixteen year old Amazon princess was a bloated wreck of an eater. The image of herself then, stuffed to the gills, and the softening that had followed before her mother made her focus more and more on training, came to Wonder Woman's mind. Her good friend Etta Candy was large, why should she herself not attain such a size? She had viewed Man's Word and while the majority of women were not big, there were still a sizeable contingent that were hefty, especially in America. Wouldn't her mission go easier if the women of the world had a larger Wonder Woman to look up to? Her powers would not be effected, being god-bestowed after all.
Her mind continued with such rationalizations as she plowed through her second lunch.
Opening her lips, Diana was ready to proclaim her intention to the world.
Something else came out instead.
"URRRAAAAPPPP!"
The rest of the superheroes currently eating stared at her, Diana staring back, not a hint of shame gracing her noble features. "A fine meal! I shall have another shortly."
Standing up, she made her way back for more food, the heavy, greasy stuff she'd consumed filling up her stomach even as it rumbled for more.
