Nelly Webb considered writing down a list of candidates as possible grooms for whom she could plan a "public" wedding and a "superhero/villain" wedding. The men had to be rich and high standing members of society as public figures and powerful and very well-known superheroes/villains. The list she came up with wasn't that long.

The first names on her list were heroes or villains that were also rulers of their own countries for their obvious political connections. King Orin, the hero Aquaman, and Prince Namor, alias Sub-Mariner, were both rulers of rival Atlantean kingdoms and possessed enough resources and fame for an astounding ceremony. King TChalla, the Black Panter, Victor von Doom and Teth-Adam, also known as Black Adam, were also rulers that were much respected by the superhero/villain community.

The next people she thought of adding to her list were rich scientists/industrialists in their public persona. Bruce "the Batman" Wayne, Oliver "Green Arrow" Queen and Michael "Mister Terrific" Holt were "classic" heroes with a true secret identity. Besides Wayne and Queen had also a plethora of children/wards/apprentices who could be potential candidates. Tony "Iron Man" Stark and Reed "Mister Fantastic" Richards were on the contrary publicly known superheroes. Finally she thought about Norman Osborn and Lex Luthor who, although well-known for their supervillain careers, were largely respected by politicians and the public.

All of them would be able to afford to pay for two first-class wedding ceremonies. For some of them, they would be marrying as two different people. For the others, it would be nothing more than a case of a public ceremony plus a "friends-only" ceremony.

The question was: who was her ideal candidate.
