The Illusive Man watched the piggybacked broadcast with a scowl on his face, stubbing out one of his cigarettes angrily as the images concluded.
"Sir, what are your orders?" asked Kai Leng, a note of confusion in the usually steadfast assassin's voice.
"This is too pat. Too bizarre. Too . . . easy." The Illusive Man growled. "But we've seen these twisted alien cultures have bizarre sexual norms before. It's possible that this is truly what they want most of all . . . and even if it isn't, we can still play
along."
"Sir?"
"Get our geneticists on double shifts and bring up all the data we have our former operative, Miranda Lawson. Also, put all of our research into creating alien STDs and subliminal mind control into Priority Alpha. Same for behavioral modifications and mental
triggers."
"Get our files on Jack as well. See if we can't refine that biotic redefinition of metabolism project as well - albeit with a focus on changing the body's needs in a far different manner than we were planning on doing."
The Illusive Man sneered with amusement.
"These aliens said they want to see porn and they want to see Shepard sleep with all of his old crew. Luckily, we can offer them a new and improved Miranda Lawson - whether or not Miss Lawson desires to be improved or not."
Kai Leng nodded with a smile.
"Shall I assemble a strike force to collect that traitorous bitch, Sir?"
The Illusive Man lit another cigarette and smiled.
"You read my mind, Kai. Just try not to bruise her too much in transit. We need her alive and as delightfully healthy as ever."
Kai grinned nastily.
"It will be my pleasure, Sir."
