Ensign Jay Leaf of the Excelsior class Yorktown found it in his room...for a time he felt confused...but tried a few commands on the unit...and stared...the bed changed shape, the door changed colour...and then...the his table began floating above him spinning...he put it down and pondered...The captain wouldnt be happy he said plenty of times about the moral Starfleet and federation that was slowly emerging And that the future Galaxy class would be representative of that new kind of organisation
He mused...he should do something....it would be wrong to just chuck it away....But he believed in Starfleet and the federation...so....
But then again, He was not too happy with what was coming was he? Commadore Quinterious seemed to be all moral talk and no idea about general real Combat....no...What was needed was a king of threat something that would force a real rethink about approaching the new period that the world would not be so nicey nicey.....
He suddenly remembered a race, the Centaurans, a matriarchal race but not jokes like the women of Angel one, or stay at homes like the women of Cygnet a genuine threat force...filled with a loathing for mens world with a technology all but equal to the federations...so far they had been out of the picture due to battles with their neighbours....the Klingons...Romulans...but now they were free to move...
