"What have we got so far?" Hill asked in the round. In front of her sat the entire Coulson team. Agent May, Coulson, the experts Fitz and Simmons and the student of Coulson who only listened to the name Sky.

"The bad news first. We found no evidence of who was responsible for the accidents. The even worse news. There were no accidents. The really bad news. We can't even prove that they weren't accidents."

"Moment Philip. So you're telling me now that you've been investigating everything for a week just to find out that it was ... accidents and now you don't even believe it," Hill asked confused and Coulson nodded.

"They weren't accidents. We are sure of that. Fitz. The analysis of the plasma distributor, please."

"Of course boss. As you can see here a X-921-B-2-A distributor was installed. However, these are used in systems that have to withstand much less voltage than the system that was running here."

"So someone accidentally installed a wrong distributor?"

"Not by accident." Sky burst in and took a stern look from Hill. The young woman knew she was the new one and the only one who hadn't gone through SHIELD training yet. "I followed the distributor's lead as far as I could Agent Hill. Then I gave the data to May."

"Agent May, if you don't mind."

"What? Oh, yes, right. Agent May." She rolled her eyes and May continued.

"The technicians had the wrong plans. So they were working with manipulated documents. When I checked the system, however, the correct data was entered there.

Hill leaned forward and began to think. "Our technicians all work with independent tablets. These are updated and compared with the main data once a night. Since this was a base that had been in operation for some time, we can rule out that it was a transmission delay. So someone changed the technician's tablet and a wrong component was installed. Do I see that right?"

"Yes Agent Hill. But not only that. The built-in module. It wasn't chosen randomly." Now said Simmons shyly and continued after she had received the order. "Fitz and I looked at and analyzed a plasma distributor of the same type. You can keep this line stable for exactly 29.1 hours. Then the printed circuit boards coated with an organic mass begin to die. Exactly 2 hours 19 minutes later, they then give up their spirit and trigger a chain reaction that led to the explosion."

"So a bomb with timer, built from our own systems," Hill asked horrified. That was even worse than she had feared.

"I'm afraid it was Agent Hill." Coulson said seriously now. "SHIELD is infiltrated. Someone not only knows our procedures but also the technology we use. It's now clear that someone had timed this explosion just as the anti-S weapons were being delivered to the hold."

"What are these anti-S weapons anyway?" Sky asked curiously.

"Nothing they mattered to you, Miss Sky. That's for level 5 or higher agents." Said Hill and nodded again to think.

"Good. Philip. You take care of the other points. I want you to keep searching. I want us to examine every screw if we have to. Just concentrate on the agents with a level of 5 or higher first. It can only have happened in the environment of someone who was familiar with the charge process."

Coulson nodded and Sky started typing on her laptop in a good mood. "Will you listen too Sky?" Hill asked astonished as Sky turned the monitor to her. "That would be 192 agents! If we include the assistants, we get a number of 2910 people. And if we then pull out the people who died in the explosion, it is reduced to 2821" she beamed with pride.

"How the hell?" Hill asked surprised and Sky grinned. "It was easy! All I had to do was hack into the mainframe's firewall and already..." she stopped talking when she saw all her team mates almost simultaneously banging their hands on their foreheads and asking Hill sweet as sugar. "You just cracked our firewalls from that laptop?"

"Uh... I shouldn't have done that, should I?" Sky asked meekly and Hill sighed.

" You always had an eye for talents Coulson. But Sky. If I see you snooping around in our systems again, I'll throw you into a cell in Sector 9 and throw away the planet where I buried the key? Clear so far?"

"Yes... glass clear!" said Sky and became as small as she could. The woman was crazy.

"Good. Now that that's settled, I have a more pressing problem to deal with." She said and gave the people a sign to leave. Just as Sky wanted to go out the door it opened and Sky gave a panic scream. Fearing, she went backwards and even dropped the laptop.

The giant figure, covered in a black coat, passed her by without a sign of emotion. Right behind her came Fury with a serious face and when they were outside Sky was still trembling and Fitz and Simmons were excited.

"That was... THE BATMAN!" they screamed.
