The symbiote looked up the previous personality Sue had, Malice. Born of depression and torture, she was a being of pride as well as envy and rage. Three of the seven deadily sins, the darker desires which Psycho-Man was interested in. But there was others. Sloth, Gluttony, Greed and Lust. The idea of indulging in those desires were of interest of the symbiote.
Of interest was those feels for Spider-man. Venom had wanted Peter was the perfect host, then raged as it was rejected. Sue had been attracted to handsome smart men like Reed, who didn't pay much attention to her. Unlike Peter who was smart and handsome, who looked at her with desire even if he was mannered enough to not act on it. Which was why the symbiote mentioned him to her. A shared desire, which would be addressed.
By the time the symbiote was done, a new darker Sue was born as a willing host. Willing to experience all and any desire or pleasure, even as they continued to protect the innocent. Of course, a change in the symbiote to make drone symbiotes to link/serve it, the innocent will be of She-Venom. Making them mental changes to Sue and adding powers to itself, it then decided to let Sue decide what to do next. Then it let her wake up at the computer.
