Cupid exists in multiple universes, sometimes more then once. Some he is a Primordial God who existed before all others. Before the Olympians, before the Titans, before Gaia and Uranus even. Then again others think he is the son of Aphrodite and various gods, but usually Ares. Romans called him Cupid, the greeks called him Eros... but that master version of himself which existed beyond one universe but in all omniverse, called himself Amo after latin words for love.
Which is why he had gathered the various version of himself, the Erostes who were the minor gods who were the servants of those version of himself, and other gods of love. For this important mission, which he was about to reveal to them. Which is how he began...
"Agents of Love! We have gathered here today for a vary important task. We exist to spread love, affection, lust and desire to the world. But those attempt to create a world of romance and even sex have been stopped. By hatred, pain, suffering and evil. War, disaster, crime and more have prevented this. But today we will try our best to stop it. And create a world of love!
So we will then end all of the ills of mankind by using our mission as both weapon and tool. To end evil with love! We will use our power of love to cause the forces of evil to fall in love with the forces of good. One weak before the day of love on the fourteen day of the second month, you will seek out evil men and women to shoot with the arrows of Eros. For the week and a day, they will be placed under the spell of love and lust. If by the end of that time, a single spark of love of any kind between the chosen then the spell will be made permanent. The magic will even allow for changes of form and mind, but if they desire to accept the love then they will keep all the changes they desire. Such as their new form of love.
Now it is not just love between good and evil, but good and good, given the battles between heroes which have occurred. To create love and harmony between heroes even as you create love between heroes and villains.
Also seek out those who need love and support. Those who suffer hate or pain, for they need love. Even if this hero must be gifted with more then love, give them the chance for love to save them.
So... I send you out into the multiverse to this mission. For love to save the world, destroy evil and bring joy! Go.... And bring the world the Gift of Love!"
As he finished, he was given cheers and applause, as they gathered their weapons of love. Bows and arrows, crossbows and bolts, guns of all types and bullets, energy blasters of all types as well. Pistols, rifles including sniper rifles, shoot guns and so on. Once armed, they left into the infinite worlds of the Multiverse, no, the Omniverse!
