In the grand scheme of things, there were powerful superheroes that could take any kind of punishment and dish out justice, scheming villains with many tricks to achieve their goals... and then there were the wannabes.

To be fair, some of these villains may have been a threat at one time or another, yet over time the power and skill of the heroes happened to transcend the paltry threat the wannabes now posed. These wannabe villains never made it in the news anymore precisely because they were so low on the totem pole of threats, even random thugs had a chance to outclass them. All things equal, these failed criminal masterminds were destined to be forgotten.

Until one fateful day, a mysterious power decided to give them one last chance.

All around the world, these villains suddenly found themselves accompanied by wives, girlfriends, daughters, even full-fledged superheroines from the superhero community. But that wasn't all. They were not merely paired up.

They were accessories.

Any powers they might have had were gone. Not only were they enslaved to their new villainous betters, they had been changed into another part of the villains' powers and arsenal, flaunted like defeated trophies and used during battle and criminal undertakings like any other weapon.

It just so happened, one of these women was starting to find this out for herself right now.
