Tony Stark, the invincible Iron Man, found himself facing a bit of a quandry. A recent battle with Doctor Doom had reinjured his heart, forcing him to use the chest battery again. Not that much of a problem, the implants were still there, and his new power sources meant he could shoot Uni Beams all day without draining his life away. But as he was getting ready to change batteries, an attack by Dormammu yesterday having nearly drained the one he was using, he found something... different about the battery he was about to put in. Embedded in the center of it, instead of his usual power source, were the six Infinity Gems. He hesitated. He knew, logically, that he should contact the rest of the Illuminati. They had been wondering where the Gems had gone since the Hood tried to claim them and lost them. But he was running REALLY low on power and he kinda needed the battery to... y'know, LIVE. He guessed he could probably rig up something to preserve his life while the Illuminati got to the gems. He could probably whip up a new battery in that time. (He cursed himself for not making extras beforehand.) But he could feel his heartbeat slowing, the pain in his chest building. Maybe... Maybe he could use the Infinity Battery just for a little while... Build some new batteries and take it out afterwards... Of course, the whole time he would be wearing the Infinity Battery, he'd be God... He bit his lip, hesitating. His chest device beeped, indicating that he needed to make a decision QUICKLY.
