Royal Palace, Arendelle
The Princesses and Queens smiled as they gathered in the dining room with the staff setting their places. They all waited for Queen Elsa’s return. None of them had seen Princess Anna and Queen Elsa since the Coronation and its fall out. Merida, her mother, and Eilowy had arrived at about lunch while Aerial’s ship had arrived that morning shortly before dawn. Kristoff was there, and none of the princesses were fooled by his assertions he is only there because he had a royal commission… the all could see that she was Anna’s boyfriend.
“Is it me,” Rapunzel said to Cinderella, “or is Anna’s dresses shorter than last time?”
“Maybe her boots are taller too,” Cinderella smiled, “Her dresses were at least to her calf but now the longest is just below the knees.”
There was loud cough from the door.
“Guests, Princess,” a man said at the door, “Her Majesty, Queen Elsa!”
The man opened the door letting in The Queen. The Princesses all curtsied as Queen Eilnor nodded to her host. Eilowy noticed Kristof checking out Princess Anna’s bottom as she curtsied to her sister.
“Welcome,” Elsa smiled with a mischeivious smirk, “I want to thank all of you for coming. Kristoff please come forward…”
It was clear the man was still not comfortable with formalities of court.
“Kristoff will be judging to see who has the best costume tomorrow night,” Elsa held her hand out gesturing to Kristoff, “I am sure he will be impartial in his judgement, but this is for fun after all. Now enough formalities, this is a social occasion. Let’s eat.”
