Scooby and Shaggy sat together on the fan tail of the rented fishing ship while Shaggy watched Daphne and Velma taking off their wetsuits. Scooby didn’t understand what Shaggy was doing but was being quiet while Shaggy leaned his chin on his hands.
“Like sometimes I wish Scooby…” Shaggy whispered.
“Aroo?” Scooby responded a little too loudly.
Both Daphne and Velma looked right at the two, but rather than say something, they both gasped and started inching back until they tripped over their half off wetsuits.
“Like,” Shaggy gulped, “There is something right behind us isn’t there?”
Without thinking, his arm to slam his elbow into the figure behind them and then reached up, grabbed something and then yanked down and jerked his body slightly tossing the figure in front of him. The Ghost of Captain Cutler crashed onto the deck of the boat, his back cracking on the impact with a loose air tank.
“Ahh! My back!” the Ghost shouted.
“He’s talking?” Velma and Daphne exclaimed.
Both rushed over and pulled the diving suit’s helmet off.
“Wait, like who is this guy?” Shaggy asked, “Zoinks! Isn’t that Captain Cutler?”
Both Velma and Daphne looked at each other than Velma held her hand up to obstruct the view of his jaw and realized it was true.
“Jinkes, Shaggy is right!” Velma said.
“Wow, you caught him girls?” Freddy said as he came up from below deck.
“No Freddy,” Daphne’s breathing got heavy, “Shaggy caught him all by his handsome self!”
“What?” Freddy was in shock.
“Yes he did!” Velma blushed.
“Like pinch me Scooby, this must be a OUCH!” Shaggy yelped as Scooby pinched him.
